Frederick "Fred" A. Eckmair, 61, of Merrimack passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 22 ^nd , 2020.

He was born in Utica, NY on September 15 ^th , 1959 to Frederick F. Eckmair and the late Elaine (Martin) Lallier. He was raised in New Hartford and graduated from New Hartford High School.  He earned his B.S from SUNY College of Technology in Utica.

Fred was currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer for Medtronic in Massachusetts.

Fred will be forever loved by his three children, Erik Eckmair of Merrimack, Adam Eckmair of Buffalo, NY, Jeremy Eckmair of Newton, MA, and his ex-wife Catherine Eckmair; his father and step-mother, Frederick and Sandy Eckmair of Florida; a brother, Jack Eckmair and his wife Andrea of Clinton, NY; and a nephew, John Henry Eckmair.
