George A. Condon

George A. Condon, 84, longtime resident of Merrimack, NH and formerly of Nashua, NH died Thursday, July 16th, 2026 at his home after a long illness.

He was born in Marblehead, MA on Aug. 5, 1941, a son of the late George A. Sr and Gladys M. (Burridge) Condon.

George was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1961 to 1966 where he received his honorable discharge for his service.

Before retirement, he was employed for many years starting with Sanders Associates and had retired from BAE Systems.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife Donna L. (Perkins) Condon who died in 2008.

Members of his surviving family include two daughters, Robin Laflamme and Christine Hodkinson and her husband Jay, all of Londonderry, NH; five grandchildren, Andrew and Lindsey Hodkinson, Brooke and Morgan Laflamme and Vivian Hatem; four great-grandchildren, Jake, Ethan and Olivia Hodkinson, and Hazel Capraro; two brothers David and Jack Condon; a sister Lorna Condon and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Thursday July 23, 2026 from 4 - 7 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. James Methodist Church, 646 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Friday July 24, 2026 at 11 AM with burial to follow in the family lot at Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack, NH.
