George F. Rothwell, Jr., 85, of Merrimack, NH passed away on April 28th, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health.

Born in Boston, MA on April 5th, 1940, he was one of two children to the later Angelina (Sacco) and George F. Rothwell, Sr. Raised in Boston, he graduated from Boston English High School and had been scouted by Boston University to play hockey.

George served in the U.S. Army, assigned to working as military police. George spanned decades in technology sector. He was a co-owner of Procare Home Health Senior Services, serving New Hampshire communities and assisting those in need.

In his free time, he enjoyed following SpaceX and space advancements, loved all Boston sports teams and spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister, Janice Rothwell.

He will be forever loved and cherished by his wife of 34 years, Jane (Sullivan) Rothwell; four children, Justin Rothwell and his wife Jennifer, Casey Rothwell and her partner Luke Stanley, Donald Edwards and his wife Kerri and James Edwards and his wife Tina; seven grandchildren, Liam, Jack, Oliver, Mallie, Evan, Aubrey and Winnie along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratefulness to Home, Health & Hospice and the Community Hospice House for their excellent care and compassion while taking care of George.
