Glenn William Telgen

On the evening of June 18, Glenn Telgen of Weare, New Hampshire, passed away after a courageous battle with occupational pancreatic cancer.

Glenn was born in 1979 to William and Carleen (Jackman) Telgen and was later joined by his siblings Carie, Neal (Krista), and Robert (Amanda). Growing up on a farm in rural Vermont gave Glenn endless opportunities to explore the outdoors, nurturing his love of nature, wildlife, and adventure—along with plenty of mischief shared with siblings, cousins, and friends.

He graduated from Middlebury Union High School (VT) in 1997 and moved to New Hampshire to attend New Hampshire Community Technical College in Laconia, where he earned a degree in Fire Science. Glenn proudly joined the brotherhood of professional firefighters, first serving in Hudson before joining Nashua Fire Rescue in 2002. Deeply committed to leadership and service, he dedicated himself to advancing within the department, earning promotions to Lieutenant in 2011, Captain in 2020, and Deputy Chief in October of 2023.

Beyond the firehouse, Glenn’s love of the outdoors continued to grow. He became a registered hunting guide in both New Hampshire and Maine, sharing his knowledge, skills, and appreciation for wildlife with others.

Glenn and Ashley (Adams) were married in August of 2004. Three years later, 2007, Glenn became the proud and doting father of Ryann. In 2010, Baker arrived to complete their family and provide a #1 son. Glenn was a devoted father who found his greatest joy in sharing his passions with his children. Whether waking them early for quiet mornings in the woods, teaching them along the riverside, or spending time together on snowy slopes, he passed down not only his love of the outdoors, but also invaluable life skills—from changing tires and welding, to setting up camp. There was no prouder dad than Glenn.

A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held on June 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Glenn’s honor to the Nashua Firemen’s Relief Association or the Hunt of a Lifetime Foundation.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Nashua Fire Rescue and the surrounding New Hampshire fire departments for their unwavering support and assistance. The strength of this brotherhood is real and enduring, and it has meant more than words can express.

The Telgen family also wishes to thank the many friends and loved ones who have helped carry them through Glenn’s diagnosis, treatment, and transition into the arms of his Creator. Their hearts are filled with profound love and gratitude.
