Gloria Marion Hunt, 91, of Merrimack, NH, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on May 31, 2023 at Bedford Falls Assisted Living, in Bedford, NH.  She was the widow of John "Jack" Hunt of Merrimack, NH, formerly of Ashland, MA, who passed away on June 15, 2022.

Gloria was born on December 4, 1931 in Portland, Maine but lived in Massachusetts and New Hampshire for most of her adult life.

The joys of her life were raising her six children, being a strong role model and devoted mother to them and sharing her life with her loving and devoted husband "Jack" whom she cherished.  She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, art, music, dance and was an avid reader of modern novelists.

Gloria was predeceased by three of her children, Bruce Soares, Brian Blanchard and Barbara D'Antoni.  She was also predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.  One sister, Glenna (John) Ryder survives.  Gloria is survived by her son Philip (Jan) Soares, daughter Kathy Blanchard, daughter Gloria (Gerry) Towne, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A private interment service will be held at the family's convenience at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
