Grace Ann
Angus
December 13, 1927 – February 18, 2020
Grace Ann Angus passed away in Nashua, New Hampshire, on February 18, 2020. Grace was born to Grace and Maurice Barry in Richmond Hills, New York, on December 13, 1927. As an only child she was especially cherished by her parents. She had many happy childhood memories, and even recounted her trips to school in a horse-drawn sled when she lived for about six months on her grandparents' farm in Connecticut!
Grace attended Woodhaven Methodist Church in Woodhaven, New York, where she met her husband James Angus at the high school youth group. They were married for 70 years at the time of his death in 2016.
Grace was active for most of her life in the Methodist churches wherever she and Jim lived. She was a member of the WSCS and the UMW, as well as volunteering in the church offices and with mission programs. She got tremendous joy from playing piano and served as church pianist/organist in several of their churches over the years.
Grace is predeceased by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her three children: Susan (Don) Osborn, Steven (Vicki) Angus and Bruce (Janet) Angus; grandchildren Amy (Ed) Shannon, Joe (Zandra) Pulis, TJ Angus and four great grandchildren.
