Obituary

Henry "Hank" Joseph JanTausch, Jr., 81, of Merrimack, NH, passed away peacefully at his home on July 8, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, on March 21, 1944, Hank was the son of the late Henry and Florence (Bataille) JanTausch. He resided in Merrimack, NH for 34 years.

Hank shared over 53 loving years of marriage with his wife, Dolores, and was a dedicated father to his children, son Brian and wife Jennifer, and son David and wife Caitlin. His greatest joy came from being "Papa" to his three cherished grandchildren: Avery, Lena, and Lucas. He was predeceased by his sister Karen Tolocka and survived by his sister Paula Kvetkosky.

Hank proudly served in the United States Navy and went on to build a long and successful career at Lockheed/BAE Systems, where he worked for 43 years. Outside of work he had a love for the beach, classic muscle cars, kayaking, and carefully assembling car models in his later years. A loyal Yankees fan, he rarely missed a game. Most of all, Hank was proud of his family.

Hank will be remembered for his quiet wit, steady presence, and deep love for those closest to him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, patience, and an unwavering commitment to family.
