Jacqueline I. (Fortier) Kendall, 85 of Merrimack, NH died Friday April 19, 2024 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA after a long illness.

She was born in Nashua, NH on Feb. 7, 1939 a daughter of the late Armand and Simone (Rouselle) Fortier.

Jacqueline was a lifelong resident of the area, and was a graduate of Nashua High School. Before retirement she was employed at Saint-Gobain in Milford and was also a former member of the Merrimack Senior Citizens. She enjoyed scratch tickets and the occasional trip to Foxwoods.

In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband Guy Kendall; three brothers, Armand, Leonard and Roger Fortier; two sisters, Pauline Lones and Shirley Stickney.

Members of her surviving family include four sons, Michael Gagnon and his wife Kim of Merrimack, NH, Thomas Gagnon and his wife Debbie of Hudson, Marc Gagnon and his wife Serena of Georgetown, MA, and Ricky Gagnon and his wife Renell of Allenstown, NH; two daughters, Brenda Clarke of Dunbarton, NH and Karen Gomes of Merrimack, NH; a step-son, Christopher Kendall and his wife Heather of Newport, NH; several grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Priscilla Brodeur of Laconia, NH; several nieces and nephews, many friends and the Posse Girls

Calling hours will be held in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH on Thursday April 25, 2024 from 5 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of one's choice.
