James "Jim" Allen Gillogly, 70, of Merrimack passed away Friday November 25 ^th at Massachusetts General Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Ayer, MA and was raised and educated in Pepperell, MA and Merrimack, NH. Jim spent nearly 50 years as a heavy equipment operator in southern NH and Boston, MA for companies including, P. Calliacco Corp, Slate Corp, and R.S. Audley Inc as well as other construction companies. His family was most important to him, he loved spending time with them and friends. In his free time, Jim enjoyed landscaping, working in his yard, his classic cars, his Harley Davidson and snowmobiles.

Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years Patricia (Ryan) Gillogly formerly of Dracut, MA; their sons Robert Gillogly of Nashua, Raymond Gillogly of Merrimack, Eric Gillogly of Amherst; sister Rhonda (Perkins) Carr of Leesburg, FL; Grandaughters Lily Gillogly and her husband Bryant Arevalo of Las Vegas, NV, Alicia Woodruff and her fiancé Tyler Martel of Henniker, NH; grandson Devin Gillogly and his girlfriend Kirsten Bardroff of Covington, WA; nieces, Katie Lindsay and her late husband Chad of Pelham, NH, Kacey Hubbard and her husband Adam Bousquet of Alton; nephew, Raymond Lorden III and his wife Marya of Hollis, NH, late nephew Gary Frechette of Dracut; 3 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 9 AM – 12 PM on Friday December 2 ^nd at the Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel webster Highway in Merrimack. A Memorial Service will immediately follow calling hours in the funeral home chapel.
