James "Jimmy" C. Broome, Sr., 61, of Merrimack formally of South Boston, passed away on Saturday, October 8 ^th , 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Boston, MA on December 23 ^rd , 1960, Jimmy was one of eleven children to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Devlin) Broome. He was raised in South Boston, MA and graduated from South Boston High School.

Jimmy was a glazier in Rosindale, MA with District Counsel #35 Union Local #1044 for many years. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, working on our house & cars, he was jack of all trades, Always there to help everyone!

Along with his parents, Jimmy was pre-deceased by two siblings, John Broome and Ann Farmer along with a grandson, Colton Faint.

He will be forever loved and cherished by his wife of 43 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Broome; eight children, James Jr., Shannon and her husband Mike Ouellette, Jeffrey and his wife Amy, Shauna and her husband Chad MacDonald, Justin, Jason and his wife Heather, Jonathan and his wife Deborah and Krystal and her husband Chris Faint; 30 grandchildren; eight siblings, Edward Broome, Evelyn Debellis, Joseph Broome, Helen Broome, Julie Broome, Jean Baker, Kathy Fenton and Paul Broome.

In accordance with Jimmy's wishes, there will be no services.
