Janine P. Hartwell, 73, of Merrimack passed away on Tuesday May 26 ^th at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Lowell, MA daughter of Gerard and Jeanette (Poirier) Hudon and was raised and educated in Lowell also. Janine studied and worked as an x-ray technologist, until having her children. She then went on to work in the Amherst School System as a librarian and teachers aid prior to retiring from there.

Janine was devoted to her family and friends, showing her love most through hard work and a helping hand. No favor was too small or task too difficult to merit her full attention. She took pride in her home, dreaming of endless design and decorating projects that filled her time. Mostly she loved being a grandparent, spending time with her grandchildren, enjoying each of their unique personalities.

Janine will be missed and never forgotten by her husband of 47 years Mike Hartwell, her children Eric Hartwell and his wife Sara of Merrimack, NH, Michelle Hartwell and her husband Drew Hartley of Brooklyn, NY , a brother Paul Hudon and his wife Elaine of Rotunda West, FL, and grandchildren Emily, Parker, and Oliver Hartwell.
