Jason Michael Hugh Sr, 47, of Merrimack, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 17th, 2025.

He was born in Derry, NH, on June 23rd, 1977, to Douglas Hugh Sr and Jessie (Wells) Haigler.

Jason was the devoted and loving husband of Veronica Hugh. They were married on September 9, 2017. Jason worked as a truck driver at US Pavement and Newport Construction for many years until his retirement. In his free time Jason enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing poker, traveling, cookouts, and spending time with family and friends.

Sadly, Jason is predeceased by his grandmother Shirley "Gigi" Picard and his uncle Robert "Bob" Wells.

Forever in our hearts, Jason is survived by his loving wife Veronica Hugh of 13 years; his five children, Sabrina Spirito and her husband Nicholas, Jason Hugh Jr and his wife Paige, Zachary Hugh and his wife Danielle, Michael Banks and his significant other Kaylee Scott, and David Banks; his three grandchildren, Kaiden Asigri, Amelia Spirito, and Elliot Hugh; his mother, Jessie (Wells) Haigler; his father, Douglas Hugh Sr; his step father David "Papa" Haigler; his mother in law Deborah Brigham; his sister Lisa Hugh-Borden; his four brothers, Douglas Hugh Jr and his wife Christine, Shawn Hugh, Steven Xavier, and Matthew Marsala and his wife Hali; two nieces, Alicia and Mia Hugh; and his nephew Jonathan Borden.

Visitation will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Saturday, March 22nd from 12 – 3 PM with a service to follow at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jason's memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
