Jeannette (Robert) Price LaPrad, 98, of Auburn, MA passed away on August 12th, 2024, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester, MA.

She was born in Worcester, MA on December 19th, 1925, to Richard and Aurore (Allaire) Robert. Raised in Worcester, she lived in Merrimack for 18 years before moving to Auburn, MA in 1975.

She enjoyed knitting, counted cross stitch (A month ago she completed a sampler for her great-granddaughter's birth), starting every day with the newspaper's crossword puzzle (and completing them, though not in ink), feeding the birds, and watching Wheel of Fortune, Judge Judy, along with CNN.

Jeannette was predeceased by her husbands Jack Price in 1971 and Peter LaPrad in 2008. She was also predeceased by her siblings Germaine Bachand and Norman Robert, and her stepdaughters Gail Gully and Marcia Dyer.

She is survived by her son Richard Price of Merrimack; three daughters, Jacqueline and her husband Thomas Rzasa of Manchester, Martha and her husband Steven Rooney of Merrimack, and Shirley Price of Auburn, MA.  A stepson Martin LaPrad of Warren, MA. Five grandchildren, Karl and Gregory Rzasa, Jill Rzasa-Lane, Pamela Goding, and Christine Penree; four great-grandchildren, Tess, Hailey, Spencer, and Vivian.

Visitation will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack on Sunday August 18 from 4:00 - 7:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday August 19 at 10:00 at Our Lady of Mercy Church located at 16 Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack. Burial will follow at Last Rest Cemetery.

She left us having lived a full and complete life and was ready to welcome the next stage and re-join those who went before her.
