Jennie V. Breton, 87, of Merrimack passed away peacefully on September 11. 2024 at The Community Hospice House in Merrimack.

She was born on August 2, 1937 in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of the late Clements and Vicenza Rivetts. Jennie was raised in Fitchburg, attending St. Anthony's Elementary School and graduating from St. Bernard's High School.

Jennie enjoyed playing Bridge and golf at Nashua Country Club where she was a long-time member of The Nifty Niners Golf Group. Her happiest times were spent at Bayview Beach in Saco, ME where she and her husband have a beach cottage.

Jennie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Raymond Breton of Merrimack and her two sons, Bruce and his wife, Marcia of Windham and Brian and his wife, Mary of Atkinson. She also leaves two grandsons, Ryan and Connor Breton, who were the lights of her life. Jennie is also survived by one sister, Betty Leone of Fitchburg, MA. as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

An hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19th from 9 – 10 AM at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack NH followed by burial at Last Rest Cemetery.
