Jill Marie Greene, 67, of Merrimack, NH unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Boston, MA on September 27th, 1956 to the late Robert and Audrey (Cogswell) Cleigh. Jill was a longtime resident of Billerica where she met her husband the late Richard Greene. They raised two beautiful children Valerie and Richard; whom she was very proud of and loved very much. She was a generous and kind mother who would do anything for her family.

Jill had a quick wit and a contagious laugh. She was always creating something yummy in her kitchen from a roast beef dinner, homemade vanilla extract to her Christmas fudge.

She was a proud and loving Nana to her grandson Jaxon who brought her immense joy. Jill had many hobbies which she shared with her grandson working in the garden with the gnomes, teaching him to bake, traveling to Disney, apple picking, and spending family time at their favorite beach spots in Maine and Aruba.

Jill was blessed to have a wonderful sister Judy who had always been there for her throughout her life. She was pre-deceased by her husband Richard J. Greene in 2009, her son Richard R. Greene in 1998 and a brother-in-law Raymond Rose in 2018.

Jill had a wonderful group of lifelong friends she met over the years from neighbors who became family, line dancing, or from work. She loved meeting up for meals or shopping trips. To know her was to love her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Valerie Greene and her partner, Colin Songer; grandson Jaxon Songer; sister, Judy Rose; niece, Sarah and her husband Anthony Rodrigues and nephew, Jason Rose and his wife Mary.

A graveside burial for friends and family will be held in Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica, MA on February 12, 2024 at 11 am. followed by a Celebration of Life at Princeton Station at 12 PM.
