Joanne P. McBreen, 88, of Bedford, NH and former longtime resident of Acton, MA, passed away on Wednesday, June 9 ^th , 2021 at the Bentley Commons in Bedford after a period of declining health. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 60 years, Joseph F. McBreen on November 22 ^nd , 2017.

She was born in Waltham, MA on August 19, 1932 to the late Frederick J. and Esther E. (Newton) Maloney.

Joanne worked for the Acton school district for many years before her retirement, and in her free time, she enjoyed visiting with her family, attending her many of her grandchildren's sporting events and performances over the years and more recently joining other members of her community for Bingo tournaments.

In addition to her husband Joseph, Joanne was also pre-deceased by her two daughters, Karen Welch on April 19 ^th , 2021 and Susan LeClaire on December 31 ^st , 2017.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her seven grandchildren, Jonathan Welch and his wife Jenn, Timothy Welch and his wife Julia, Daniel Welch and his girlfriend Laurie Brandt, Katie Torres-Welch and her husband Daniel Torres, Michael Welch, Nicole Burke and her husband Shawn Burke, and Brian LeClaire and his wife Lucy; five great-grandchildren: Alexander Welch, Mason and Harper Burke, Violet LeClaire and Jackson Welch; two son-in-law's, Robert Welch and Mitchel LeClaire along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Thursday, June 17 ^th from 11 AM – 1 PM. A graveside service will be held at the NH Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen at 2 PM.
