John Charles Parrinello, Sr.

John "Johnny" Charles Parrinello Sr., 59, of Merrimack, NH passed away on July 30, 2026.

John will be remembered as a creative, emotional, and caring man. He found joy in cooking, painting, playing the guitar, and writing love songs for those he cared about. He had a gift for storytelling, often portraying himself as the main character, as if he were in a movie. He enjoyed watching classic films and golf on TV. He experienced life and love with a profound intensity. No adventure was ever too small for him to appreciate.

The family hopes John will be remembered for the whole person he was beyond his struggles: a loving father, son, brother, artist, musician, storyteller, and friend who brought creativity, warmth, and love into the lives of those around him.

John was predeceased by his mother, Janice Parrinello. He is survived by his father, Joseph Parrinello; his brothers, Joseph Parrinello Jr. and Jeffrey Parrinello; and his children, Jillian and John Jr., whom he loved deeply.

In honor of John’s memory, his family hopes his life will serve as a reminder that addiction is an illness, and that every person deserves compassion, understanding, and the opportunity for hope and healing.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the New Hampshire Food Bank in John’s memory.
