John Vey, 81. of Merrimack NH passed away on March 8th, 2024.

John was born in the Bronx, NY on December 10th, 1942, the son of the late Frank and Marie (Kornobis) Vey. He grew up in the Bronx and was a graduate of Saint Mary's College where he received his bachelor's in philosophy. John also served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, John worked as a system analyst for the American International Group, as well as the Director of Facilities for St. John Neumann Church.

During his free time, John loved photography going back to the days of black and white film and developing his own pictures.

Sadly, John is predeceased by his infant daughter Deborah Vey, a brother, Frank G. Vey and his parents, Frank and Marie Vey. He will be remembered by his loving wife of 53 plus years Anna (Kutny) Vey of Merrimack, NH; his son John F Vey; his daughter, Andrea Vey and her partner Douglas Bailor; his brother Robert Vey; and many nieces and nephew and grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12th between 2 and 5 PM at Our Lady of Mercy Church at 16 Baboosic Lake Rd in Merrimack NH. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church located at 16 Baboosic Lake Rd in Merrimack NH on Wednesday March 13th at 10:30. Per the family's request, his final resting place will be held privately at the Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in John's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
