June G. Carlson, 93, of Bow, NH and former longtime resident of Merrimack, NH, passed away on Wednesday, September 29 ^th , 2021.

She was born in Lynn, MA on June 9 ^th , 1928, to the late Wilbur and Gyda (Marryot) Chesley.

For many years, she worked as a nurse's aide at Lynn Hospital, Greenbriar nursing home in Nashua and later in the Central Supply office at Memorial Hospital in Nashua.  She retired from her work career after a longtime position at Kollsman's in Merrimack.

Along with her parents, she was also pre-deceased by six brothers and sisters, Clifford, Viola, Sonny (Wilbur), Elmer, John, and Gloria.  She leaves behind her beloved little brother Raymond Chesley of Meredith.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her seven children, Donna Osborne and husband Wayne of Nashua, Richard W. Carlson and wife Anne Christine of Pennsylvania, Deborah Siegel and husband Laurence of Windham, Susan Carlson and life partner Steven Whalen of Raymond, David Carlson and his wife Kelley of Nashua, Barbara Hayes and her husband John of Bow, and Nancy Wood of Stratham; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A quote from a longtime friend said, "She was the best friend anyone could have and was well loved by all in her quilting group that met at Merrimack Meadows every Thursday".

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Monday, October 4 ^th , 2021, from 9 – 11 AM with a service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in June's memory can be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Association.
