Obituary

June Wangrocki (Noveska), a devoted wife of 65 years, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, with her family by her side after a brief illness.

Born on January 21, 1940, in Chelsea, MA, June was the daughter of Mitchell and Genevieve (Pawelczyk) Noveska. As a proud Air Force wife for 21 years, she embraced the adventure of military life while raising her five daughters, a journey that took their family to various parts of the world.

While June's greatest joy was her family, she was also a talented and passionate crafter. She loved knitting, crocheting, and sewing, and she was a wonderful baker, known especially for her pizzelles, chocolate chip cookies, and strawberry cookies. Her warmth, love, and creativity will live on in the cherished memories she leaves behind.

June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony; her parents; and her siblings, Mary Ann Dodge, Mitchell Noveska, Chester "Al" Noveska, Carl Noveska, John Noveska, and William Noveska.

She is survived by her five daughters: Lynn Katler and her husband Paul of New Hampshire, Karen Martin of Washington, Brenda Walker and her husband Daniel of New Hampshire, Denise Saul and her husband John of Oregon, and Erica Payne and her husband Daniel of Massachusetts. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Genevieve Racki of Lynn, MA; eight grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Nannie", Jessica and her husband Jordan, Jonathan, Ryan, Katherine, Sarah and her husband David, Austin, Kimberly, and Susan; and three great-grandchildren, Karsen, Koen, and Samantha.

June will also be fondly remembered by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Her family and friends will forever hold her in their hearts.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 14th, 2025, from 10 - 11 AM at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack NH. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
