Kenneth D. Bell, 74, longtime resident of Merrimack, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17th, 2026 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
He was born in Concord, MA on May 13th, 1951 to the late George and Lena (Jeanson) Bell. He was raised in Concord, MA, graduated from Concord High School and received his Associates Degree from Middlesex Community College.
Ken served in the U.S. Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge in 1970 for his service.
He was the owner of WesBell Electronics in Merrimack since 1988 and was proud to retire and pass the business on to his sons in 2021. He was known as an excellent leader and mentor.
In his free time, Ken liked to play golf, take day trips around New England with his wife Debby and vacationing with his family to Myrtle Beach. He spent several years as a coach when his sons were growing up for the Merrimack Youth Association (MYA) for baseball, basketball, and soccer and also served on the Board for a time. Ken preferred things to be simple and meaningful – family dinners, burger and fries, ice cream, donuts, and pancakes with lots of butter.
Along with his parents, Ken was predeceased by a brother, Kevin Bell and a sister, Maureen Bell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Deborah (Julian) Bell; three sons, Joseph Bell, Christopher Bell and his wife Sondra, and Alan Bell and his partner Kaylie; three grandchildren, Kaylee Kirouac, Lily, and Jordan Bell; three siblings, Sandra Golinger, Paul Bell and his wife Ana, and Cheryl and her husband Bill Hay; in-laws, Carlene Bell, Joseph Julian, Kevin Julian and his wife Janice, and Donna Gilligan along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 from 4 – 7 PM. Burial will be held privately in Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack at the convenience of the family.
