Lemont R. Haas, 62, of Concord, NH passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Concord Hospital after a courageous 3-year battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

He was born at Edward AFB in California on May 24 ^th , 1960 to the late Krescentia (Schnitzenbaumer) and Water C. Haas, Jr.  He was raised in Merrimack and was a graduate of Merrimack High School.

Lemont worked as a Production Manager for the Union Leader newspaper in Manchester, where he had been employed for 23 years. Lemont enjoyed camping, hiking, skiing with his family, and his best canine friend Wolfgang.

Along with his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother Dr. Leon Haas on June 2 ^nd , 2014, and foster son, Kevin Rich.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Michelle (Cote) Haas; two sons, Alex and Ian Haas; three siblings, Laverne Haas and his wife Nancy, Larry Haas, and Ruth Palmer; lifelong friends David and Eanne Hahn; along with several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Tuesday, September 6 ^th , 2022 at 9:30 AM.
