Linda "Lynn" M. McKenzie, 73, of Merrimack, NH passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday February 2nd, 2022, at Boston Medical Center.

She was born in Portsmouth, NH on March 6th, 1948, to Lois (Waldron) Nelson of Rye, NH and the late George Nelson, Jr. She was raised and educated in Portsmouth and graduated from Portsmouth High School.

Along with her mother Lois, Lynn will forever be loved and remembered by her husband of 53 years, Kent C. McKenzie of Merrimack, NH; their Two children, Kent A. McKenzie and his wife, Lori, of Antrim, NH and Jay McKenzie and his wife, Crystal, of Merrimack, NH.

Grandchildren whom she loved and adored, Beau and Grayson McKenzie; Brother, Daniel Nelson and his wife, Robin, of Kittery, ME, and their son Dan Nelson; As well as many more loving family members.

WE REMEMBER: Lynn was amazing with children. She worked in several daycare facilities. Her longest tenure being at Sunrise Childcare.

She loved spending time with family, friends and her social group, The Flamingos. In her free time she was an avid ink stamp collector and card maker. Making cards for her loved ones, for every occasion.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Saturday, February 19 ^th , 2022 from 1 – 4 PM.
