Lucille J. Johnson, 86, of Milford died on Thursday June 1st, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Boston, MA on June 23, 1930 to the late Allen J. and Fredericka (Clifton) Hardwick.  She was raised in Roxbury, MA and was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School for Girls.

She retired from Digital Equipment Corporation as a Customer Service Manager of the International Division.

Lucille loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading as a favorite past time.

She was pre-deceased by her husband of 45 years, Harry Johnson, Sr in 1994, and five siblings, Barbara Simms, Wendell Hardwick, Irene Huggins, Brenda Jackson, and Allen Hardwick.

Surviving members of her family include four sons, Harry Johnson, Jr. and his wife Rita; Neil Johnson and his spouse Bradley Brusso; Kirk Johnson; Daryn Johnson and his wife Pamela; a daughter, Lisa and her husband Darrick Jones, Sr.; 10 grandchildren: Rachelle Tocci, Alysha, Dana, Kierra, Hailey, Casey, and Trey Johnson; Lexi, Tori and Darrick Jones, Jr.; four great-grandchildren: Camryn, Audrey, and Dana Harry Johnson; and Kassidy Tocci; a brother, Peter Hardwick; two sisters, Phoebe Matthews, and Edwina Burke, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Monday June 5th from 4 - 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Kathryn Church, 4 Dracut Road, Hudson, NH on Tuesday, June 6th at 10 AM.  Burial will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody, MA.
