She received her bachelors and masters degrees in education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity. In 1963 she married her high school sweetheart, Russell F. Feener.
Marcia and Russ raised their family in Acton, MA and were active members of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sudbury, MA. She particularly enjoyed the mentoring aspect of her business, and made many good friends as they worked together towards shared goals. She sold her business in 2015.
Russ and Marcia were founding members of the Winnipesaukee River Trail Association, and an integral part of the Trestle View Park trailhead in downtown Franklin. Marcia was a member of the Franklin Business and Professional Women, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a board member of the Webster Lake Association.
Marcia loved the lake, her garden, her friends, her community, and her family.
