Marilyn "Lynn" Day Green of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on May 6. 2020 in Amherst, New Hampshire.
She was the daughter of the late Carl Samuel Day and the late Helen Marie O'Mara. Marilyn was born in Buffalo, New York on April 18, 1934. She attended nursing school at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, New York. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Wilford "Bill" Green in 2019 and her son, Jeffrey in 1991.
Marilyn was first and foremost a mother and loved her family beyond measure. After raising her children, she restarted her nursing career at St Joseph Hospital and later a charge nurse at the Courville at Nashua until she retired. Marilyn moved to New Hampshire from Maine and previously from Buffalo, New York. She was an avid golfer, gardener and homemaker raising eight children.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Thomas Duhaime of Merrimack, NH; her son and daughter-in-law, Patricia and Gregory Green of Amherst, NH; her son and daughter-in-law, Susan and Brian Green of Merrimack, NH; her daughter, Lisa Cain of Merrimack, NH; her son, Kevin Green of Everett, Mass, her son, Matthew Green of Merrimack, NH and her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Marc Theriault of Amherst, NH. In addition, she loved all her grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher and Sean Duhaime, Daniel, Alex and Sophia Green, Joshua Cain, Beary Green, and Zachary, Benjamin and Samuel Theriault. She had two great granddaughters Scarlett Rae and Lily Green.

The family will celebrate a memorial mass at a later date with a grave side burial at that time.
