Marshall Appleton Gelette

Marshall A. Gelette, 65, a longtime resident of Merrimack, NH passed away on June 11, 2026, at his home after a sudden illness.

He was born on Nov. 28, 1960, a son of Grant Gelette of So. Dartmouth, MA and the late Nina A. (Beal) Gelette.

Marshall owned and operated a local business known as Magnum Contracting and Snowplowing for over 30 years and was also a manager at Firestone in Manchester and Nashua where he worked until his retirement in March of 2026.

In addition to his mother, Marshall is pre-deceased by his two sons, Marshall Branden Gelette and Branden Robert Gelette; and his daughter Crystal Jacqueline Gelette.

Marshall is survived by his father, Grant Gelette; a son Marshall A. Gelette II; a brother Grant Gelette II; a sister Susan Gelette; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial calling hours will be on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 1-3 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home, located at 425 Daniel Webster Hwy in Merrimack. A burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marshall’s memory can be made to the Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 State Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
