Mary G. Brown, 88, of Peterborough, NH and formerly of Merrimack, NH passed away on Saturday November 11th, 2023 at Pheasant Wood Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

She was born on January 19th, 1935 in Arlington, MA to the late Harold and Frances (Aberly) Publicover. She was raised in Arlington and moved to Sudbury as a teenager and graduated from High School in Sudbury MA.

Mary was a stained-glass artist -she worked many years through the night in her home studio to help provide for her family.

She enjoyed spending time in her gardens, vacationing at the family cabin in Maine and had a great love for animals.

Along with her parents, Mary was pre-deceased by her daughter-in-law, Sheila Brown only 4 days prior on November 7th, 2023; and four brothers, John Publicover and his wife Doris, Rev. James Publicover, Francis Publicover, and David Publicover.

Surviving members of her family include four sons, Mark Brown and his wife Doreen, Kevin Brown, Peter Brown and his wife Theresa, William Brown; a daughter, Virginia Brown and her husband Ian Davidson; six grandchildren Jessica Brown, Derick Brown and his wife Kristen, Fred Brown and his wife Heather, Riley, Conner, Racheal Brown and great-grandchild Gunner Brown; two brothers, WIlliam Publicover and his wife Anja and Joseph Publicover and his wife Donna; a sister, Sr. Ann William; two sisters-in-law, Veronika Publicover and Mary Publicover along with several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 13 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Last Rest Cemetery.
