Mary Margaret (McNaught) Corrigan, 93, of Nashua, NH died peacefully on Tuesday October 3rd, 2023 at Courville Aynsley Place assisted living facility after a recent hospital stay and in-residence hospice care thereafter.

She was born in Bonawe, Scotland just northeast of the west coast town of Oban, on March 9th, 1930, daughter of the late John McNaught and Jessie (McIntyre) McNaught-Cameron. The family later moved to Glasgow, and during WWII, she and other siblings lived with relatives in the countryside. Afterwards she returned to Glasgow and took a job as a factory worker.

Margaret, as she was known to everyone, married John Corrigan in 1954 and emigrated to the United States in 1964, becoming a U.S. Citizen in 1975. She resided in Carmel, NY until 1983 and then Millbrook, NY until moving to Milford, NH in 2008, and finally to Nashua, NH in 2021. During the course of her lifetime, Margaret was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very skilled at knitting and crocheting, enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, but mostly loved spending time with her family. Somewhat introverted, Margaret was always a thoughtful listener and a trusted friend to many, and anyone who heard her would comment on how lovely and pleasing her accent was. Margaret had a wonderful sense of humor and will always be remembered for her quiet nature and kind ways.

Margaret is survived by sisters: Betty, Isobel, Pat, and Janette, and her two sons: John Corrigan, Jr. and his wife Patricia, of Port St. Lucie, FL and Douglas Corrigan of Nashua, NH, along with her grandchildren: Kevin/Katherine, Shannon, Kathleen and Sean Corrigan, as well as many loving nieces and nephews in the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia. She is predeceased by her husband John Corrigan, and other siblings: Ellen, Winnie, Jessie, John, Sadie, Sandra, and Evelyn.
