Claire Walker, age 98, beloved wife of late husband James Walker, died Wednesday, August 10 ^th , 2022 at Elliot Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born in Fall River, MA. A daughter of the late William Mulford and Donalda Marie (Fluery) Mulford.

Claire was employed at JC Penney in Dallas, TX for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and entertaining them with her elaborate dinner parties. She was strong minded, hardworking, energetic, outgoing and loved being around people.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter, Maureen Cornwell, her grandchildren, Richard Fortin, Jennifer Fortin, Paula (Fortin) Williams, Daniel Williams, Timothy Fortin, her great-grandchildren, Nicole Sierra, Analeese Williams, Brody Williams, Matthew Fortin, Jack Fortin, William Fortin, Christian Fortin, her great- great-grandchildren, Serenity Sierra, Malakai Sierra, Quinn Williams, her siblings, Marie Proulx, William Mulford, George Mulford and Ronald Mulford and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Herbert and Jackie Mulford.

Private services will be held at Rivet Funeral Home, Merrimack NH.
