Amherst, NH – Matthew T. Green, 56, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Jun 3, 2023.  He was surrounded by his family as he answered his new call from the Lord.  Born in Portland, ME on October 31, 1966.  He was the son of Wilford and Marilyn (Day) Green.  He was raised and educated in Merrimack and Hollis, NH.  He graduated from Hollis Area High School in 1984.

He was self-employed at his own carpentry company, MTG Construction.  He loved his business and worked for a few years with his son.

He was predeceased by his parents, his oldest brother, Jeffrey Green and his brother-in-law, William Cain.

He is survived by his son, Beary Green and his new wife, Britney Green of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and two granddaughters, Skyla and his second granddaughter, Scarlett McManus. His siblings include Deborah and Thomas Duhaime, Brian and Susan Green, Lisa Cain all of Merrimack, NH.  In addition, Gregory and Patricia Green, Jennifer and Marc Theriault of Amherst, NH.  And, Kevin Green of Medford, MA.  He leaves behind one niece and nine nephews and two grand-nieces.

A funeral mass will celebrate his life as he begins his new journey at the Parish of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Nashua, NH on June 12, 2023 at 11:00 am.
