Matthew L. Worster, 55, of lifelong resident of Merrimack, NH died Monday August 3, 2026 while visiting Florida.

He was born in Nashua, NH on Dec. 16, 1970 a son of Leonard “Lenny” C. and Nancy L. (Twardosky) Worster of Merrimack, NH.

Matt was a graduate of Merrimack High School class of 1989. Following high school, he joined the US Army serving from 1989-1991 during Desert Storm. He was a member of the American Legion Post 98 and the V.F.W. 8641 both in Merrimack.

Upon discharge from the Army, Matt started Betterway Builders.

Matt was the kind of person who was always there to help, whether the job was big or small. He was that person who you could count on to listen, talk with, hug with and especially laugh with. His laugh was contagious and he always lightened up any room, campfire or snowmobile trail.

His favorite activity was snowmobiling for countless hours in the north woods of NH, particularly Dixville Peak. Matt spent many hours fishing in Maine at the family camp on Damariscotta Lake for big bass and it never disappointed. But mostly his heart was filled with his daughter, son and all his grandbabies.

In addition to his parents, members of his surviving family include his daughter Raven Worster and her fiancé, Nicholas Pinkham; a son Eric Dearborn; grandchildren Alessandra and Bella Pinkham, and Logan and Elaina Dearborn; a sister, Lisa Worster; a brother Philip Worster and his wife Kristin; his favorite aunt Joyce Soucy; two nephews, Dean Cobb, Sean Cobb and his fiancé Hannah Bonin and their children, Jaelyn and Brinley Cobb; two nieces Megan Bolduc and her husband Joshua, and Bridget Worster and her partner Jesse Jesseman; also many aunts, uncles, cousins and several countless friends, of which most were like family. He will also be very missed by his loving dog Tanner.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH on Monday, August 10th, 2026 from 4 - 7 PM. Following cremation, burial with military honors will be in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack at the convenience of the family.
