Maura June
Mccarthy
June 21, 2000 – November 21, 2022
Maura June McCarthy, 22, of Goffstown passed away on Monday, November 21 st , 2022 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Manchester, NH on June 21 st , 2000 to Ricky C. McCarthy of Manchester and Pamela J. Taber-McCarthy of Goffstown.
Maura lit up a room with her beautiful smile and cute little laugh. She absolutely loved her music from the day she was born and her Daddy would always play his guitar and sing to her. Going to concerts (especially seeing "Recycled Percussion" with all of her favorite guys, specifically Justin), therapeutic riding at Upreach Riding Center, floating on a float in the lake or pool with her styling diva sunglasses, cuddling with those who loved her and watching fireworks, were among some of her favorite things to do. She loved people and being around them, taking it all in and socializing with them in her own special way. She is now walking, talking, singing and dancing up a storm, all while being the sweet and sassy girl we knew her to be. She's free doing all the things she wasn't given the ability to here in her short time and loving every moment of it. She was truly our angel here on Earth and our fighting Irish girl right up until the end. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
She was pre-deceased by her maternal grandparents, June and Paul Taber and her paternal grandfather, Clifford McCarthy.
Maura will be forever loved and remembered by her parents, Ricky McCarthy and Pamela Taber-McCarthy, her sister Emily Taber and Pam's boyfriend Dave Gowin; Her paternal grandmother, Helta McCarthy; aunts and uncles, Patricia Lupo, Susan and her husband Michael Dooley and Douglas Taber and his wife Vanessa; cousins, Karen, Lauren, Eric, Olivia and Trevor; Michela Parkinson and Cathy Howe, two of her loving and dedicated care takers over the years.
A memorial service will be held at The First Congregation Church, 508 Union St, Manchester, NH 03104 on Saturday December 3 rd at 1pm. A Celebration of Life will follow the service in the church parlor.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Upreach Riding Center, 153 Paige Hill Rd, Goffstown, NH 03045.
