Michelle Irene Correia (McLellan), also affectionately known as Mimi, Chelle, and Mike, passed away surrounded by family, Sunday August 18, 2024, at the age of 75. She was a cherished wife, a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother and a compassionate friend. She was born September 17, 1948, in Boston, MA. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur L. and Simone McLellan and her 3 triplet sisters Cheryl Sibert, Anne Roupp, and Barbara Brooks.
She is survived by her devoted husband, John Correia of Merrimack, NH. Her two daughters, Emily Eovine and her husband Rob of Merrimack, NH. Elizabeth Monaghan and her husband James of Bridgewater, MA. Her two sisters Debbie Ramage of Randolph, MA and Leslie Dawe of Dedham, MA. AS well as her two cherished granddaughters, Arianna and Adisonn Eovine.
Michelle took immense pride in her family's accomplishments and the families that they built. They were most definitely the light of her life. Grammy, as her granddaughters called her, adored Ari and Adi. They brought her endless joy, and she cherished every moment with them. Passing down her wisdom, kindness, and love. Often taking them shopping and for sleepovers, where they would have snacks and watch "Say Yes to The Dress" and "The Nanny" together.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends. All of whom will remember her generosity, her unwavering support and the warmth and comfort that she brought into their lives.
Michelle was a magnificent chef. She hosted the warmest and most wonderful holidays and family events, with her delicious meals and welcoming spirit. You could experience the love and effort she put into her food, simply by the amazing tastes and the exquisite presentations.
As a natural born caregiver starting as being the oldest of six daughters, Michelle touched the lives of many with her compassion and selflessness. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to people in need. Even people she didn't know. She sent countless care packages to soldiers deployed overseas. It brought her great joy. Her words of support could soothe the soul of most anyone. She ran her own daycare for decades, simply because she could not bear to leave her own children after they were born. She provided the love and safety she knew parents needed. So many of the daycare families remained in Michelle's life, even after kids grew older and after her retirement. Her gifts of love were endless.
Michelle will be remembered for her colossal love for her family and friends and for the strength and grace with in which how she lived her life. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to be loved by her altruistic spirit.
Calling hours will be held at Rivet Funeral Home. 425 Daniel Webster Highway. Merrimack, NH 03054 Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 1PM - 3PM and 6PM - 8PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Rivet Funeral Home, at 11AM to celebrate Michelle's life.
