Pamela Currier

Pamela "Pam" Currier, 67, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Nashua on September 11, 1958, Pam was the daughter of the late Orrin H. and Edith M. (Murphy) Connell. She was also predeceased by her brother, Tim Connell, who passed away on June 12, 2026.

Pam was the beloved wife of Michael Currier, with whom she shared nearly fifty years of love, friendship, and unwavering partnership. Together they built a life filled with family, hard work, horses, dogs, and a home that welcomed everyone who walked through its doors.

She was a devoted mother to her son, Brandon, and his biggest supporter from the very beginning.

Whether she was traveling to soccer tournaments, cheering from the sidelines, celebrating victories, or offering encouragement after disappointments, she was always there. Her love was constant, her support was unwavering, and the lessons she taught through her actions will last a lifetime.

Horses were one of Pam's greatest passions. She spent countless hours riding, caring for, and showing them, earning numerous championships, belt buckles, trophies, and blue ribbons over the years. Yet those who knew her understood that the awards were never what mattered most. The friendships she built, the people she encouraged, and the opportunities she found to help others were what she valued most.

Pam had a rare gift for making people feel welcome. She was the first to offer a helping hand, share her knowledge, or simply listen when someone needed a friend. Her kindness extended beyond family and friends to neighbors, strangers, and anyone fortunate enough to cross her path. She lived with a servant's heart, quietly making the lives of others better without ever expecting anything in return.

For nearly five years, Pam faced cancer with remarkable courage, strength, and grace. Even through unimaginable pain, she continued to think of others before herself. While cancer ultimately claimed her life, it never diminished her spirit or the love she gave so freely.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Michael Currier of Merrimack; her son, Brandon Currier; her brothers, Thomas Connell and O. David Connell; and her sisters, Roberta Connell and Florence Stump.

She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends who will remember her with love.

In accordance with Pam's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Her family will hold a Celebration of Life this fall, a season she loved so much. Friends and loved ones are invited to watch for a future announcement with additional details.

Pam will be remembered for her compassionate heart, quiet strength, selfless generosity, and unconditional love for her family, friends, horses, and dogs. Her legacy is not found in the awards she earned, but in the countless lives she touched with her kindness.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
