Patricia "Trisha" Ann (Ryan) Gillogly, 73, of Merrimack, New Hampshire passed away on Monday, November 6th, 2023, after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband James A. Gillogly of Merrimack, New Hampshire and was the daughter of the late Alice R. (Westover) Chaffee of Dracut, Massachusetts and Francis E. Ryan of Lowell, Massachusetts.
Trisha was born on January 27th, 1950, in Lowell, Massachusetts and raised in Dracut, where she graduated high school in 1967 and later attended the Andover Institute of Business. Trisha held many positions in the engineering field, such as drafting design and mechanical drawing and ended her long career with Lockheed Martain, also known as BAE.
Trisha was also a creative artist with an attention to detail. She had an interest in pencil drawings, pen and ink drawings, oil paintings, and designing anything from home improvements to landscapes. She was also a member of various organizations including the Chelmsford Art Society, the Merrimack Ladies Guild, the Merrimack Garden Club, and Our Lady of Mercy Parrish in Merrimack. She was very generous with her free time and could be found volunteering with many community activities.
Trisha will be deeply missed by her children, Robert Gillogly of Nashua, New Hampshire; Raymond Gillogly of Merrimack, New Hampshire; and Eric Gillogly of Amherst, New Hampshire. Her stepmother Mary (Underwood) Ryan of Lowell, Massachusetts; and her siblings, Sheila (Ryan) Sweeney and her husband Bob of Dracut, Massachusetts; Debra Nangle of Lowell, Massachusetts; Linda (Ryan) Hazllton and her husband Greg of Dania Beach; Kelly Ryan of Lowell, Massachusetts; Kevin Ryan and his wife Erin of Deerfield Beach, Florida; and previously departed sister Eileen (Ryan) Leakas and her husband Paul of Lowell, Massachusetts. Her grandchildren, Carey Gillogly and her husband Bryant of Las Vegas, Nevada; Devin Gillogly and his previously departed girlfriend Kirstin of Covington, Washington; and Alicia Woodruff and her fiancé Tyler of Henniker, New Hampshire; and four great grandchildren. Nieces, Katie Lindsay and her previously departed husband Chad of Pelham, New Hampshire; and previously departed nephew Gary Frechette; and many other family and friends.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 3:00 – 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 16th, 2023, at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, New Hampshire. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 17th, 2023, at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church located at 16 Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack, New Hampshire followed by a graveside committal service at the Woodlawn Cemetery located in Pepperell, Massachusetts.
