Paul L. Gagnon, 80, formally of Merrimack NH and Yuma AZ, died December 3 ^rd , 2020 at his home in Prescott Valley, AZ. He was pre-deceased by his wife Jeanne L. (Fransisco) Gagnon in 2007.

He was born in Manchester, NH on February 16, 1940 to the late Emile C. Gagnon and Louise (LeClerc) Gagnon. He was raised and educated in Manchester, NH and attended Bishop Brady High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962 and received an honorable discharge for his service.

Paul married Jeanne and they raised their family in Merrimack.  For many years, he ran a painting business and worked as a building contractor, after which he was employed, until his retirement, by Anheuser Busch at the Merrimack brewery.

Along with his parents Emile and Louise and his wife of 43 years, Jeanne L Gagnon, Paul was also pre-deceased by a son, Jeffrey P Gagnon, a sister, Sylvia (Sr. Louise) Gagnon and a brother, Richard N Gagnon.

He is survived by his companion, Valerie Bantis of Prescott Valley, AZ; two sons, Christopher C and Ryan R Gagnon of Ft. Myers, FL; a daughter, Vikki L Gagnon and his grandson, Jordan Cote of Merrimack NH; his brothers Charles (Kay) Gagnon, Gerald (Ruth) Gagnon, and sisters Francoise (Stan) Irzyk, Simone Bazin, Mildred Corliss, and Murial (John) Langevine along with several nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Friday, May 7 ^th , 2021 from 4 – 6 PM. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6 PM. Burial with military honors will be at the NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen on Monday, May 10 ^th at 10 AM.
