Paul S. LaRoche, 55, of Merrimack, NH, passed away on Friday, July 21st, 2023, at the Catholic Medical
Center in Manchester after a brief illness.
He was born on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, on September 5th, 1967, one of three
children to the late Col. Robert P. LaRoche (USAF, Dec.) of Woonsocket, RI, and Patricia Curley of
Wakefield, MA. He grew up on and around military bases throughout the United States and in the
Republic of Korea, graduating from Rantoul Township High School in Rantoul, IL.
Paul earned his B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and obtained a post-
baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He
worked as an accountant for several companies including Unicco Service Co. in Newton, MA, and most
recently Calumet GP, LLC, in Indianapolis, IN.
He grew up playing soccer and tennis and loved to hike and bicycle. He was an audiophile and avid
reader, and religiously followed Boston sports.
Paul was predeceased by his father and is survived by his mother; his siblings, Robert K. LaRoche of
Pittsburgh, PA, and Dawn LaRoche of Merrimack, NH; Robert's wife Cara; and nieces Francesca and
Izabella.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date at the family's convenience.
