Paul Michael Thompson passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, at the age of 54.

He was born in Manchester, NH, on January 18th, 1970, to the late Don and Sally Thompson. He was a lifelong resident of Merrimack, NH, and attended Merrimack schools.

Paul was a family man and was known for his quiet strength, humor, and love. He enjoyed anything that the family could do together. Paul loved spending summers at the Rye family cabin, playing cards, cooking for the family, bird watching, and family excursions, often to the coastal areas of New England.

Paul was a sports enthusiast and always cheered on his favorite Boston teams. Paul was a dedicated, hardworking employee at the same company for 36 years. He was passionate about his job and enjoyed the people he worked with.

Paul married Elise Rye, also of Merrimack in January of 1999. They have two sons, Benjamin Thompson and Matthew Thompson.

Paul is survived by two brothers and a sister. Paul's extended family meant the world to him.

The family would like to thank Christ the King Lutheran Church in Nashua, where he was a member, for all their love and support. The family would also like to thank all the caregivers and the Hospice House in Merrimack.

Memorial calling hours will be held in the Rivet Funeral home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH Thursday October 10, 2024, from 5 - 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you give grace, love your neighbor, and pay it forward.
