Obituary

Paula Ann Turner, 73, of Atkinson, NH, died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Catholic Medical Center, from complications of COVID-19. She was born in Haverhill MA on April 29, 1947, daughter of the late Paul J., and Florence (Shattuck) Turner and graduated from Lowell State (now UMass Lowell) with her Masters degree in elementary education. For many years Paula was an English and art teacher in the Lawrence Public Schools as well as a substitute teacher in Haverhill Public Schools. She also worked for many years as a Mary Kay consultant.

She was married to the late Lawrence Randall, and her survivors include her brother, Peter J. Turner and his wife, Judith of Nashua, NH; her nieces, Melanie Ann Dean, Tiffany Natalie Smith, Courtney Marie Holmes and her husband Derek, several cousins, who were like brothers and sisters to her, aunts, and many amazing friends. Paula had a vivacious personality and a love of travel and adventure. Some of her happiest moments were spent on road trips across the U.S., and "cousin trips" to France.

There will be no calling hours. A celebration of Paula's life will be held at a later date. In honor of Paula's love of animals, memorial contributions can be made in her name to Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford NH 03110.
