Peter M. Jennings, 84, of Manchester, and former longtime resident of Merrimack passed away on April 10 ^th , 2020 at Hanover Hill in Manchester after a short illness. He was the widower of the late Virginia May (Hemenway) Jennings, who passed in 2011.

He was born in North Adams, MA on December 15 ^th , 1935 to the late William and Florence (Moir) Jennings.

Peter proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1954 – 1958. After his honorable discharge, he was employed by the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller for many years. He was also co-owner of King Kone in Merrimack along with his late wife Virginia from 1976 – 1998.  Peter was also skilled at re-upholstery and enjoyed spending time with his children working on furniture.  He loved to travel and enjoyed going to Florida with his late wife in the fall after King Kone closed for the season.  Peter was always quick to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  Peter had a great smile and a wonderful sense of humor that we will all miss dearly.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his children, Chris Jennings and his wife Lisa, Timothy Jennings and his wife Krista, Peter Jennings and his wife Nadine, and Susan Jennings Colcord and her husband Peter Colcord; 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

Due to current public health and safety concerns, funeral services for Peter will be limited to immediate family members and held privately. Peter's interment will take place at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack, NH. We thank you for your understanding during these difficult times.
