Richard P. Connearney, Jr., 40, of Salem, NH passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 25 ^th , 2023 at his home.

He was born in Malden, MA on May 20 ^th , 1982, son of Cheryl (Johnston) and Richard Connearney, Sr. of Merrimack, NH. Raised in Malden, MA, he was a graduate of Malden High School in 2000.

Richard enjoyed playing football, baseball and basketball. He worked as a carpenter for Falkbuilt.

Along with his parents, Richard and Cheryl, Richard is survived by his two children, Christian and Gianna Connearney and their mother Nicole Mungo-Connearney; his significant other, Cali Hill; two brothers, Steven Penney and Gary Connearney and his significant other Carmen Hegglin; paternal grandfather, Robert Connearney; uncle, Joseph Connearney; two nephews, Carter and Logan Penney along with several cousins and many friends.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Monday, March 6 ^th , 2023 from 3 – 6 PM with a service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
