Richard "Rich" Nelson Rodriguez, 53, of Merrimack passed away on Tuesday, June 7 ^th , 2022 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a courageous battle with cancer while surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Manhattan, NY on March 27 ^th , 1969, Rich was one of four children to the late Juan Nelson Rodriguez and Carmen Gloria Alvarado.

Rich was last employed for Kohl's in Nashua, NH as an Area Replenishment Supervisor. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed playing softball with his softball family, camping and vacationing with his family and he loved working on his 1985 Mazda RX7.

Along with his parents, Juan and Carmen, he was also pre-deceased by a son, Richard Nelson Albert in 2017.

Rich will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 8 years, Cheryl (Farland) Rodriguez; seven children, Bianca Rodriguez, Ciara Lynn Torres, Ashley Rodriguez, Jaylen Raines, Katrina Rodriguez, Richard "Nazzy" Rodriguez and Maxximus Rodriguez; two step-children, Kayla Tietz and Joseph Burry IV; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Ilianny Martinez and Michelle Rodriguez; brother Joseph Natal and his wife Jennifer; two sisters-in-law, Gretchen and her husband Paul Agresti and Robin and her husband Stan Zapanas; brother-in-law Roland "Chuck" Farland II and his wife Amy; father and mother-in-law, MargaretRose and Roland Farland, Sr. along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Monday, June 13 ^th , 2022 from 4 – 7 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 7 PM.
