Richard "Rich" Anthony Silva of Merrimack, NH passed away August 21, 2023, at the age of 74.

He was born in Nashua, NH on June 11, 1949, to the late Charlotte (Haight) Silva and Anthony Silva.

Along with his parents Richard was predeceased by sister Elizabeth (Silva) Lambert, brother in laws Ronald Miner Sr, Mark Markarian, Robert Higgins Jr, sister-in-law Katherine (Higgins) Silva.

He will be forever loved and remembered by sons Mitchell and wife Jamie Silva, Zachary and wife Erin Silva, daughters Hayley (Silva) and husband Randy Crowl II, Alicia Shields, Nicole Orcutt, eight grandchildren Gavin, Colton, Madison, Kaiden, Peyton, Reagan, Charlotte, Clayton. Brothers Robert and wife Denise Silva, Ronald Silva, sisters Virginia Miner partner Donald Lemieux, Carol Markarian, Pamela Silva and fiancé Mark Maloney, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Richard was a loving father and grandfather. He took pride in his children and grandchildren. He was at his happiest while spending time with them. Following his retirement, he enjoyed traveling to Charlotte County, Florida in the winters. He loved fishing, playing cards, and horseshoes at The Merrimack American Legion. He was a lifelong fan of New England sports.
