Robert E. Dinsmore, Jr., 68, of Merrimack, NH passed away on October 7th at Tufts Medical Center in Boston with his family by his side after a period of declining health.

He was born in Boston, MA on May 27, 1955, son of the late Helen (Doherty) and the late Robert E. Dinsmore, Sr. He was raised in Milton, MA, and graduated from high school at Kentucky Military Academy.

Bob adored his family. He enjoyed debating politics and philosophy and was very passionate about his ideologies.  While Bob loved his human family, his 10lb Minpin Emmet was his biggest source of joy and comfort for him.  He and Emmet were best friends and ultimate companions. Bob was also a friend and mentor to many; he would never hesitate to lend a helping hand to those he loved and considered true friends and was often generous with his time and support.

To forever cherish his memory, he leaves behind four children: Kimberly Dinsmore, Robert E. Dinsmore, III,  Jonathan Dinsmore and Michael Dinsmore; two step-children: Nate Kovacs and his wife Crystal Kovacs and Michelle Labarge; two grandchildren, Robert and Aundra; five siblings, David Dinsmore, Maureen Laplante, Helen Dinsmore, Alison Dinsmore and Susan Dinsmore along with several nieces and nephews.

Bob was pre-deceased by two siblings, Brian Dinsmore and Jane Dinsmore.

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
