Robert "Bob" T. Duarte, 82, of Amherst, NH passed away on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 at the Crestwood Center in Milford, NH.

He was born in Lewiston, Maine on June 18th, 1941 to the late Dorival and Margaret (Wilding) Duarte. Raised in Lewiston, ME and graduated from Lewiston High School.

Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 - 1962. After an honorable discharge from the service, Bob worked for Sanders in Nashua as an Electronic Technician for 32 years before starting his own company, CNC Automation and served as owner & president until his retirement in December of 2022.

He was a member of Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, Gideon's International and the American Legion Post 98.

Along with his parents, Bob was pre-deceased by an infant granddaughter, Hope Duarte.

He will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 60 years, Marla (Webster) Duarte; five children, Aaron Duarte and his partner/significant other Karen Grace, Shawn Duarte and his wife Kim, Brian Duarte and his wife Maria, Noah Duarte and his wife Katie and Lori Hering; 10 grandchildren, Paige, Brooke, Robert, Carmen, Corinne, Michael, Joshua, Jacob, Lucas and Kurt; 4 great-grandchildren, Dimitri, Antonio, Ava and Maxwell; two siblings, Gary Duarte and his wife Ellen and Marcia and her husband Bruce Johnson along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private burial will be held at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, 517 Boston Post Road, Merrimack on Saturday, July 29th at 2:30 PM.
