Robert "Bob" John Farquhar passed away on April 29, 2023, in Milford, NH. He was born on July 5, 1939. He was a former sportswriter and managing editor for the Oklahoman. Later in life, Bob was a Services VP for several enterprise companies, including DEC, Quark, and IBM. He was passionate about Oklahoma football and basketball, never missing a game with his son Brooks. During the summer, Bob was either playing golf, bass fishing or working in the yard with his wife Odessa.

Bob is survived by his wife, Odessa Farquhar, his daughter Sherrie Seligman, and his two sons, Lance and Brooks Farquhar. Grandchildren Chris Scott, Matt Scott, Madison Seligman, Skylar Seligman, Sad è Farquhar, and Olivia (Okami) Farquhar.
