Robert Raymond Gagne, of Merrimack, NH, passed away peacefully at home on Merrimack, NH on July 23, 2025, at the age of 74. Bob was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on November 16, 1950, the oldest of six brothers and one sister, to the late Raymond and Jeanne Gagne

Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force for eight years, a chapter of his life that shaped his strong character and dedication to others. Known for his warmth, humor, and kindness, Bob lived by the motto, "One day at a time," and brought joy to everyone he met.

He was married to his loving wife, Estelle Gagne (née Santerre), for over 52 wonderful years. Together they raised two daughters: Laura Murphy and her husband Matthew of Tewksbury, and Lisa Lapp and her husband Andrew of Merrimack.

Bob was a proud grandfather to Christopher Labine, Brittney Green, Chealsee Cook, Taylor Stimpson, and Lindsey Morris. His legacy lives on through his great-grandchildren: Gracelynn Cook, Olivia Stimpson, Scarlett Stimpson, and Allison Stimpson — with baby Green expected in 2026.

Bob's life was full of laughter, love, and unforgettable stories. Even in the face of pain, he never stopped telling jokes and brightening the lives of those around him. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him
