Robert Edward Hines Jr, of Litchfield, NH, loving father of Henry Hines, and beloved partner of Anne Matthews passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Born in Milton, MA in 1958, Rob was the devoted son of Robert Edward Hines (deceased) and Ann Patricia Dugan Hines (deceased).

Rob graduated from Wayland High School and received his BA in Business from Northeastern University. Rob had a successful career in Management most recently retiring as COO at Admix.

Rob loved life and was an avid athlete who completed the Boston Marathon and worked out at the gym daily. He took pride in his home improvement projects, gardening, skiing in Vermont, camping with his  classmates in the White Mountains of NH, visiting Florida and Hawaii, walking on Castle Island, and on Cranes Beach in Ipswich, MA.

Rob had a very special loving relationship and found his soulmate in Anne Matthews.

Rob was extremely proud of his son Henry, a Marine Veteran, and loved his siblings; Nancy Hines (Cleo Coy, deceased), Jack Hines (Marcy), Kate Hines (Chris Hearn).  He also leaves behind, his Nephew Andy Hines (Keegan Finberg) and great nephew Zev Finberg Hines, and former wife Pat Mitchell Hines, and many cherished cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

A memorial celebration in the summer of 2021 will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make donations may contribute to St Jude's Children Hospital.
