Rivard
July 6, 1944 – February 13, 2022
Robert R. Rivard, 77 of Merrimack, NH and formerly of GA and FL, passed away on 13 February 2022 at the Crestwood Nursing Home, Milford, NH, after several severe seizures. Robert was never married & had no children. Robert "Bobby" enlisted in the Army at the age of 21, at 22 while in Germany got a double brain aneurism and has been under guardian's care ever sense.
Born in Nashua, NH on 6 July 1944, he was the son of Henry Aime "Joe" Rivard & Irene Marie (Prince). Bobby lived with his brother Ron E. & Ruth M. Rivard which were his legal guardians.
Bobby love conversing with children & going out for short walks. He would walk around the cul-de-sac and talk to all the neighborhood kids, some adults also. He would get excited when Josh & Sarah would bring in his great-great niece Kenzie Kennedy Lorman.
Bobby is survived by his siblings: Ronald Edward & his wife Ruth Mae (Shea) Rivard, of Merrimack, NH, Roy Paul & his wife Carol Sue (Smith) Rivard of Massena, NY, Walter Wilfred "Mike" & his wife Cheryl Ann (Masterson) Rivard of Englewood, FL, Brenda Lee (Bartisavitch) Notini, John & his wife Tina (Vanderbyl) Bartisavitch of Port Charlotte, FL, Patricia (Bartisavitch) Bailey of Port Charlotte, FL, sister-in-law, Elaine Louise (Marco) Rivard & many nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was pre-deceased by his siblings: Edith Exzilda (Baker) Higgins, Rita Jeannette (Baker), Bernard Roland & his wife Elaine Blanche (Smith), Kulingoski, Philip Morris & his wife Sally A. (Bouley) Kulingoski, Aime Leo Rivard, Albert Thomas Rivard & Richard Norman Rivard.
A special thanks to Tania, Cole, Cody & Todd who spent so much time sharing his life as well as his brother Roy & his family who came from NY to visit often also his niece, Charnel Hope (Kulingoski) Remillard who was always there to bring a big smile on his face.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Last Rest Cemetery, 7 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Thursday, February 17 th , 2022 at 1:15 PM after a brief visitation at the funeral home from 12:30 – 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bobby's name can be made to Liberty House, 221 Orange Street, Manchester, NH 03104
